Not perhaps in the sense that Merrick imagined, though perhaps Freud might differ on that. I feel a little bit of a cheat calling myself a "psychoanalyst" as I've not done the requisite practical training to receive patients (and may never do so). But I've got the piece of paper that says I know the <em>theory</em>, so I guess as long as I don't say I'm a "clinical" psychoanalyst I'm probably OK. A bit late, but yay you again and enjoy taking that “semi” off your strapline.
