		<description>To be honest, Joel, I suspect &lt;i&gt;Avatar&lt;/i&gt; would be rather underwhelming if seen on a small screen without the 3D. It does have more to it than merely the technology... but not &lt;em&gt;much&lt;/em&gt; more. Strip away the palpable sense of being immersed in the pristine forest environment and I imagine you&#039;re left with some pretty bits of computer animation and little else.

So if you get a chance to see it on the big screen in 3D, then I&#039;d actually suggest you do so. Otherwise, despite the occasional moments of impressive psychedelia, it&#039;s not a film I&#039;d recommend.</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve not seen &#039;Avatar&#039;, but I still think the 1953 &#039;House of Wax&#039; in 3D takes some beating. One thing &#039;Avatar&#039; lacks is Vincent Price.</description>
